SNAP FOOD PROGRAM:         You may be eligible for extra help with the cost of groceries. Call the Senior Center for Information and/or to make an  appointment to apply.

DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

    Time: 7:00am – 11:00am

    OUR BIG EVENT OF THE YEAR!!
    Come out to have breakfast with us on Saturday, December 9th! All proceeds will go into the Emergency Fuel Fund. This fuel fund is for the residents of Jewett City & Griswold that are at risk of freezing this winter.
    There will be lots of raffle baskets for all to enjoy.
