DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

 

 

 

 

    Dial-a-Ride

    Medical transportation 24/7 when the Center cannot provide it for you. Eastern CT Travel vouchers may also be available.  We can also offer mileage reimbursement.

    You must call the senior center to schedule a pick up for medical appointments or to go grocery shopping. The bus driver will not take any verbal requests for you to be picked up.

    ALL PAPERWORK NEEDS TO BE FOR THE YEAR 2020

    INCOME for 2021                                                                            EXPENSES FOR 2021

    1. SSA-1099 (Social Security) or A TPQY                                 1. Rent receipts for 2021

    if you are Social Security disabled                                             2. Electricity bills for the whole  year of 2021

    1. Your income tax return for 2021 if you filed                      3. Fuel Bills – oil, kerosene, gas for 2021
    2. Interest statements from bank                                               4. Water/sewer bills – if not included in your rent for 2021
    3. Pensions
    4. Any other income

    TVCCA Cafe Meals – Mondays thru Fridays Weekly

    Come join us for Lunch! Meals are served at 11:30 am, Monday thru Friday at the center. Please register one week before. You must be 60 years old.

    $3.00 donation  suggested.
