Spots go fast on all our trips and some are already filled up. We do our best to get you the best seats for the best price with a quality trip!  Check our flyers in the Thrive55+ Active Living Center, in our Discover 55+ newsletter or on our Facebook page for added information.

We offer day and extended trips around the USA and abroad. Great for singles, couples, families – there’s something for everyone and all ages. Trips are open to the public.

    Day-tripping to the BIG-E this Friday!

    Weather is looking great for day one the BIG E – this Friday- and we still have 5 spots left!! Come on in to claim your spot on this fun filled time at New England’s Biggest Fair!

    $50 per person to go with us Friday, Sept 13th – includes your BIG E admission ticket, privately chartered round trip motor coach transportation and driver tip. This bus leaves 8:30 am and returns to Groton Sr Center approximately at 6 pm. Call 860-441-6785 or www.GrotonRec.com

    The community gives to the Groton Senior Center; Dining Out is our way of giving back to the community. Each month a Restaurant is featured. Ride the senior van or meet us there. Order a full entrée or just appetizers. An evening outing, socializing and enjoyment! Please join us Tuesdays for a “socially nutritional” evening .

    Registration is required–860-441-6785 please let us know if you need a GSC bus transportation.

    December 30th- Day Trip to NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDENS—HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW

    NYBG is an iconic living museum, a major educational institution, and a renowned plant research & conservation organization. Founded in 1891 and now a National Historic Landmark, it is one of the greatest botanical gardens in the world and the largest in any city in the United States. Enchanting model trains zip through a display of more than 175 NY  landmarks, each re-created with bark, leaves, and other natural materials. Depart: 7:00am GSC Estimated Return: 7:00pm GSC Register by November 28TH!   $106 per resident includes: Deluxe motor coach transportation, Friendship Tours Tour Director, driver gratuity and admissions to NYBG and the Holiday Train Show.   All ages.
