Mystic Seaport Virtual Presentation: Sailing to Freedom Wed., Feb 3rd  1:00p.m.

Join Mystic Seaport Museum’s Director of Exhibits Elysa Engelman, for a fascinating presentation on the less-understood maritime side of the Underground Railroad, the role of a prominent Mystic family in the abolition movement, and specifically a well-publicized escape through New London county that was covered by newspapers up and down the Eastern seaboard.

What’s Cooking? A Conversation with Chef Jacques Pépin Mon., Feb 8th  6:30p.m.

Join us for a Zoom conversation with our Connecticut neighbor, Chef Jacques Pépin!  Chef Pépin’s will be discussing his newest cookbook, Jacques Pépin Quick & Simple.  He will address how to prepare memorable meals.  We will find out how he is spending his time cooking during the pandemic, and learn about his comfort foods and go to recipes.

Eco-Safari of the Connecticut River Watershed Sat., Feb 27th   2:00p.m.
