Connecticut General Statutes 26-28(9) provides that persons 65 years of age or older are entitled to obtain a lifetime fishing license free of charge by applying to their local Town Clerk or any participating licensed agent in Connecticut. Older adults who meet the guidelines can also obtain a free hunting license by applying to the Town Clerk.
