Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. is a groundbreaking traveling exhibition featuring over 700 artifacts and 400 photographs on loan from more than 20 museums, institutions and private collections from around the world. Auschwitz was the largest concentration camp established by the Nazis during World War II and the place where over 1 million people lost their lives.
Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. is the most comprehensive exhibition ever presented in North America dedicated to the history of Auschwitz and its role in the Holocaust. The vast collection of personal objects is meant to humanize the lives lost at Auschwitz and to serve as a remembrance and as a reminder of the need to combat hate and evil wherever it exists.
After visiting the exhibit, a short ride brings us to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market. You will have time on your own for lunch, shopping, exploring the area, and reflecting on your day.
