Our Fitness Room has 2 treadmills, 2 recumbent elliptical machines, 1 recumbent bike, 2 upright bikes, a television to keep you entertained and is air conditioned!

Please Note: A signed waiver and physician’s note is needed in order to use the equipment.

► Stop by Reception and pick up the Release and Waiver Form and Physician’s Questionnaire.  Both must be filled out and turned in before using the equipment.  Basic instruction on how to use the equipment will be given before use.  Please ask your doctor if you have specific health related questions

Prevalence of Fraud Discussion with Congressman Courtney

Join us!  Congressman Courtney and a representative from the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) will be at Rose City Senior Center to talk about the ongoing prevalence of fraud.  Discussed will be scams that strongly impact older adults including by phone, email, texting, and other forms of messaging.

Join us for some good food, great fun and fabulous entertainment for an end-of-summer picnic!  Your meal will be freshly prepared and served to you at your table.  While you are enjoying your delicious meal, be entertained by the musical piano entertainment of K&K Duets!  Sure to be a fun time!

From Photo to Canvas Adult Beginning Lanscape Painting

Each class will start with a demonstration of techniques including use of brushes, palette knives, mediums and color mixing. Students need to bring a landscape picture from which you would like to paint.  All materials are included.

Build A Boquet Workshop

Tuesday, August 8th at 12:00pm

 

Participants will learn the five elements of creating a stunning market bouquet, and then build their own beautiful arrangements.  Great opportunity to learn what goes into a beautiful bouquet!  This class is appropriate for all skill and knowledge levels.

The Gales Ferry Librarian facilitates the discussion.  Anyone over the age of 55 is welcome to  participate.  Copies of the monthly selection are available in regular print, large print, audio, and sometimes, as a downloadable book or audio.  Upcoming books are distributed monthly at the discussion.
