Dr Elena Bortan from Hartford Healthcare will speak on Movement Disorders and Essential Tremors. Discussion will include Signs & Symptoms, Treatment Options, and Question and Answer with this expert. Registration is required.

Dr. Robbins is an Emeritus Professor of Geoscience and Natural Resources at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. During his 37 years at UCONN he taught courses and conducted research dealing with water resources. He started a study aboard course for the University dealing with ancient Roman water systems in Italy and continues to travel in Europe and the Mideast exploring Roman ruins. He has given many public lectures and has helped many towns in the State dealing with environmental issues. He lives in Groton and is a volunteer at the Seaport and the Senior center. He also serves on the
Town’s Inland Water and Wetlands Agency.

She has almost 20 years of experience in the Medicaid field and have had my own business Title 19 Specialist for 11 years.

morning all about your 4-legged friend!

Groton Police Departments K-9 team will be holding a demonstration. We will also have Officer Chase and other comfort dogs joining us! There will be local vendors selling fun items to share with your pet and informational booths as well.

All this fun is happening in the field next to the hockey rink – from 9:00-11:00 am.

Thursday, September 14 at 1:30 pm- a 4 mile hike at G.O.S.A. Sheep Farm on the blue trail then crossing over into the Merritt Property. MUST register by Sept 11.

Monday, October 16 at 10 am – a 3 + mile hike on a even  and mellow trail at our own Copp Family Park. Must register  by Oct 12.

From the Drifters to Brenda Lee, Victoria will bring a repertoire that has something for everyone to enjoy.

On Tuesday, September 26th at 1 PM– Ed Prendergast will be back to discuss strategies and ideas around how folks can protect assets as they age. We will discuss how important an attorney and financial advisor can be in strategizing how to protect and retain assets. We will discuss death taxes as well as long term care costs and how inflation has and will impact the costs.
