With over 10,000 lavender plants on a sprawling 25-acre property, Lavender Pond Farm is a relaxing and inviting oasis for the body and the mind. Enjoy your time there walking the fields, strolling around the pond and covered bridge, checking out the chickens and bee hives, and visiting their store. On our return trip, we will stop for lunch-on-your-own.
Please note that this trip will require a fair amount of walking.

Trip Saturday, July 29th to Plymouth, MA
DEPARTING: 7:45 a.m. Norwich Commuter Parking Lot, Laura Blvd/ Rt. 82, Norwich (I-395 Exit 11)
RETURNING: near 9:00 p.m.
Enjoy free time at the historic Plymouth waterfront featuring the Mayflower II, Plymouth Rock, and commercial fishing fleet. Experience colonial charm and hospitality at the John Carver Inn for lunch. Next, it’s on to the whale watch on Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Bank, primary feeding grounds for whales. Be near some of the rarest, most graceful mammals in the world. An onboard naturalist will give a narration of what we are experiencing. The vessel is a comfortable and modern 110’ boat with multiple level decks so everyone has plenty of space at the rails. There is an interior cabin with seating, a galley with snacks and beverages, and restrooms.
FEE: TBD; price includes motorcoach transportation, lunch and whale watch. Meal selections are grilled salmon, baked stuffed chicken, or chicken parmesan.
