Join us for some delightful Valentine’s inspired musical entertainment by the very talented Dick Tarryk.

 

The festive music and songs will be performed during lunch.  Although not required, if you would like to purchase lunch on February 14th you need to reserve your meal in advance.  Please call the kitchen by 11:00 a.m. on February 9th to sign up.  Suggested donation for lunch is $3.00 for seniors 60 and older

Luther is an internationally featured sporting artist. His paintings and illustrations have been featured in sporting publications, galleries and collections throughout the US, Canada and Japan including the American Museum of Fly Fishing-Manchester, Vermont, The International Game Fishing Hall of Fame, The Cascapedia River Museum-Quebec, Canada, The Maritime Art Gallery at Mystic Seaport Museum, Fly Fisher Magazine –Japan, Gray’s Sporting Journal-Illustrations , Yale Anglers Journal cover artist, Natural New England Magazine-interview and illustrations, Atlantic Salmon Journal -illustrations and interview, Baltimore Orioles-Camden Yards, Sportsman’s Gallery-Atlanta and Beaver Creek, Colorado, and Redbone Gallery-Islamorada, Florida, Sporting Classics Magazine-illustrations, Redbone Journal -celebrity angler and artist, illustrator and interview, Wlikes University Magazine-interview, Pennsylvania Angler Magazine, Sportsman’s Gallery-Atlanta, Beaver Creek, Colorado. AARP Drivers Safety Course Jan 27

The AARP Driver Safety Class provides a refresher of driving rules and teaches valuable defensive driving skills, safety strategies, and tips for adapting your driving to compensate for physical and cognitive changes that come with aging.

By law, Connecticut residents age 60 and older who complete this class qualify for a minimum of 5 percent automobile liability discount.

Our next offering of the class is Jan 27th. We do require registration by Jan 26.  Reminder: each person is to bring a check to pay the instructor.  Members of AARP: $20  or  Non-members:  $25

$5.00 for members/$8.00 for nonmembers.

Lunch includes a piece of lasagna & a bottle of water. Lunches can be eaten in our dining room, or you can take it to go.
