The Café Program is held each Monday at the Preston Senior at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are necessary as we do not have the capability of accommodating walk-in patrons. We ask that you register by Wednesday of the previous week in which you plan on attending the Monday luncheon. There is a suggested donation request of $3.00 per person to participate in

Trip: A Christmas For Carol

To Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Theater in Newport, RI
Start with a delicious, all you can eat, buffet lunch featuring a large selection with all foods prepared onsite. After lunch, enjoy the hilarious performance of A Christmas For Carol. Following the show, return to your seat in the dining room for dessert, drinks and a fun-filled Holiday Cabaret Show!
During the holiday season, Carol tends to take Christmas way too far at work with decorations, presents, and overbearing traditions that not everyone appreciates in the office. Her co-workers love Carol, but this time of year she gets on everyone’s last nerve, so they formulate a plan for the company party that night! With wacky office hijinks, pranks, and even an office romance, will her co-workers be able to help Carol remember the true meaning of Christmas?
COST: $92 per person includes charter bus transportation, fabulous buffet lunch, matinee performance of “A Christmas For Carol”, and Holiday Cabaret Show. Driver tip is not included.

Trip: Olde Mistick Village

Enjoy time on your own to explore the shops and have lunch at Olde Mistick Village. Olde Mistick Village is a unique collection of outdoor shops that has become a favorite for local residents as well as for Mystic’s many visitors searching for that “perfect something”. For lunch (on your own), enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants onsite ~ Mango’s Wood Fired Pizza, Pink Basil, Jealous Monk or Bleu Squid. (Steak Loft not open for lunch. Go Fish is currently closed.)
Cost: $2 for transportation (Senior Center bus). Lunch is on your own.
Bus leaves the Senior Center at 10:00 a.m. and returns approx. 2:45 p.m.

Beltone Hearing Aid Clinic
Thursday, November 17th from 9:00-11:00am
As a service to the local community, a Hearing Care Practitioner from Beltone will be at the Rose City Senior Center to meet with seniors by appointment. A trained professional will be available for cleaning and checking all makes and models of hearing aids, along with answering any questions you may have about hearing aids and hearing health. This is a free service. Appointment is needed.
Beltone will offer this service every 4 months. The next Hearing Aid Clinic will be held on March 16.
