Please join us as we get into the spirit of the season! We will be trimming the trees in the senior center, listening to festive music, and enjoying some holiday refreshments. Cookies for this event are sponsored by Sweitzer Income Planning,

American Legion Thanksgiving Meal

If you would like a hot meal delivered to you on Thanksgiving Day, Please call the senior center at 860-376-2604.

There is no cost for the meal.

The Senior Center will be closed the following holidays:

 

       ELECTION DAY — MONDAY, NOVEMBER  8th

  VETERANS DAY —  FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11th

THANKSGIVING — THURSDAY  NOVEMBER 24th

                                        and FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25th

 

November 8th is Voting Day!

Rides will be provided by the Senior Center if you need to get to the polls. Please call as early as possible to book your ride.

There are 3 locations to vote:
Niantic Center School
East Lyme Community Center
East Lyme High School

If you are not sure where you go to vote, contact the Town Clerk’s office at the Town Hall

Over The Hill Hiking Group: November Hikes

Hikers from other towns are welcome to participate.

Medium hikes may have a few hills, rocks or beach sand. The difficult hike is more strenuous; participants must have completed two medium hikes with the group before enrolling into a difficult hike.

All hikes are approximately three to four miles long, and will begin at 9:30 A.M. Hikers who wish to carpool should meet at East Lyme Senior
Center at 9:00 A.M.

Distances, locations and leaders are subject to change, if necessary.

All hikers must register for each hike by calling the East Lyme Senior Center – 860-739-5859.

Hikers are to bring water and sturdy shoes; and lunch, insect
repellant and sunscreen if desired
