On, Wednesday July 20, 2022, at 1:00pm Mattthew Borrelli will read poems from his poetry book that will take the audience though the shared experiences of caring for a loved one with dementia. His storytelling will engage the audience and act as a therapeutic tool for all to express their similar feelings. Ledge Light Health District Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic
Wednesday, July 13th from 11:00am-1:00pm
Hosted by the Ledge Light Health District.
Only the Moderna vaccine will be available at this clinic for individuals who are individuals 18 years or older who need a 1st or 2nd dose (primary series) or are eligible for a 1st or 2nd booster dose.
All clinics are free and open to the public. No appointment, insurance, or ID is necessary. Please bring your CDC vaccination card if you have one.

AARP Driver Safety: In-person Smart Driver Courses
Thursdays: July 21st, August 18th, September 15th, October 20th
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (please arrive by 8:45 a.m.)
The AARP Smart Driver™ course, is a classroom based refresher course for drivers age 50 and older. This 4 hour, in-person class will give you useful information to help keep you safe on the roads. You could even save money on your insurance! Auto insurance companies in most states provide a multi-year discount after showing proof of completing the course. Please consult your auto insurance company about the discounts available to you from taking this class.
Cost: $20 AARP Members $25 AARP Non-Members

Craft Classes
July 1st and July 15th at 10:00 a.m.
These easy, seasonal crafts are good for beginners but all are welcome to join. All materials supplied.
This class is free for Senior Center Members and
led by our very crafty volunteer Joyce.
Class size is limited and you need to sign up in advance to join the class.

Creative Arts Group
Mondays 10:00 a.m.
Starting July 11th
Group lead by Kerri Redner, LCSW, RYT, C-MI
This is a 7 week series meeting on Mondays which will focus on a variety of music, movement (in chair), writing and art. Each week we will use different music to guide a weekly creative activity.
Any member of Rose Arts Senior Center can participate. This program is free.
Participants can join any time during the 7 weeks of classes. First class is Monday, July 11th.
Classes will meet on July 11th, 18th, (no class July 25th) and August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th
