July Day Trip: Whale Watch

All bus trips will depart from the Norwich Commuter Lot, Rt 82, Exit 11 off of I-395 and will travel rain or shine.  The only exception is severe weather. No refunds will be given unless a replacement is found.  **

 

WHALE WATCH BUS TRIP—$148.00

Spend Free time at the historic Plymouth Waterfront, featuring the Mayflower II, Plymouth Rock and commercial fishing fleet.

  • Lunch will be at the John Carver Inn.

 Meal selections:

           Baked Haddock.

 Baked Stuffed Chicken,

 or Steak Tips and vegetable stir fry over rice

 

Whale Watch on Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Bank, the primary feeding grounds for whales—some of the rarest and most graceful mammals in the world.  An onboard naturalist will give a narration of what we are experiencing.  The vessel is a modern and comfortable 110’ boat with multiple level decks so everyone has plenty of space on the rails.  There is an interior cabin with seating, a galley for snacks and restrooms.

Registration begins Monday, June 3 for residents and Monday, June 10 non-residents. Our front desk is open M-F 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Please register before the first week of class. Classes not meeting the minimum will be cancelled for the session.

Co-hosted & held at the Florence Griswold Museum (96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme)

4 Week Musical Series
All ages are welcome

The performances will be held outside on the grounds of the Florence Griswold Museum. Bring your chairs, blankets, dinner, etc. A Food Truck will be on-site from 5:30 – 7pm on 7/5, 7/11, 7/18 and 6:30-8pm 7/26

Meet at the main parking lot by the visitor center. We will walk up to the Castle
terrace, which is in Lyme, to see the beautiful view of the CT River and the
Hadlyme Ferry. We will explore the easy dirt path route that was once a narrow gauge train trail. About 1 mile
