The Cemetery Club

Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Theater, Newport, RI

Thursday, May 30th

Start with a delicious, all you can eat, buffet lunch featuring a large selection of freshly prepared food.  After lunch, enjoy the hilarious performance of The Cemetery Club.  Following the show, return to your seat in the dining room for dessert, drinks and a fun-filled Cabaret Show!

Fun Fact ~ Originally on Broadway, The Cemetery Club was made into a movie in 1993!

The Cemetery Club ~ Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husbands’ graves.  Ida is sweet-tempered and ready to begin a new life; Lucille is a feisty embodiment of “the girl who just wants to have fun”; and Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene.  Sam meets the widows while visiting his wife’s grave and when he has an eye for Ida, Doris and Lucille try to squash the budding romance!

COST: $99 per person includes charter coach bus transportation, fabulous buffet lunch, matinee performance of The Cemetery Club, and Cabaret Show.  Driver tip is not included.
