Holiday Luncheon and Entertainment

Our Holiday Luncheon and Entertainment with Joe Mac playing your favorite Holiday tunes and classic rock and roll music will be on Friday, December 15th at 12 PM @ the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.  Join us for the festivities as we celebrate the upcoming holiday with good food and friends. To sign up for lunch this day, you MUST have an updated Form 5 on file with the Estuary AND call the Estuary at (860)388Ͳ1611 ext. 216 to reserve your lunch. Reservations MUST be made by Friday, December 8.

Present Wrapping Party

Come to our Present Wrapping Party on Wednesday, December 13th at 12:30PM @ the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. Join us with your holiday spirit as we wrap holiday gifts! Bring 5 or 6 presents to wrap with our provided wrapping paper or have us wrap it for you; just in time for the holidays! This event is free for members, 55 years of age or better!

Lyme Village Voices Performance

The Lyme Village Voices Performance will occur on Tuesday, December 12th at 12:30PM @ the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.  Join us for this wonderful performance of holiday and show tunes! The cost for this performance is free for members, 55 years of age or better.

DIY Paperback Book Holiday Trees

Come join us on Wednesday, December 6th at 10 AM @ the Old Lyme Town Hall.  Come celebrate your holiday spirit with us as we create Xmas trees!   Instructor Mary will be here to teach us how to make beautiful tabletop Christmas trees, perfect for decorating your house or giving as a gift for the holidays! Cost to members is two nonperishable food items/non- members three items.

Dining Out Program: Captain Daniel Packer Inne

Dining Out is our way of giving back to the community that gives to us. An evening outing of dining, socializing, and enjoyment! Each month one special restaurant will be featured. Our van will pick you up or you can meet us there. Each person pays their own tab. Order a full entrée or just appetizers.

Cookie Exchange

Get in the holiday spirit with our cookie exchange! Bake two dozen cookies to bring and share at our cookie exchange. The result is that everyone only has to bake one kind of cookie, but goes home with dozens of different cookies!

 Hikers from other towns are welcome to participate.
 Medium hikes may have a few hills, rocks or beach sand.
 The difficult hike is more strenuous; participants must
have completed two medium hikes with the group before

enrolling into a difficult hike.

 All hikes are approximately three to four miles long, and

will begin at 9:30 A.M.

 Hikers who wish to carpool should meet at East Lyme

Senior Center at 9:00 A.M.

 Distances, locations and leaders are subject to change,

if necessary.

 All hikers must register by Wednesday for each hike by
calling the East Lyme Senior Center – 860-739-5859.
 Hikers are to bring water and sturdy shoes; and lunch,
insect repellent and sunscreen if desired.
