bags will be handed out to each participant!
Dental is not a service covered by Medicare!
Don’t let your teeth to without a check-up!

would like to see Dr. Danielle Trudell, licensed
and insured, for a free dental screening,
information, and goody bag!
Dr. Trudell will be here once a month on a
Friday for the screenings.

Dear Seniors,
Myself, the Town Council, and the
Mayor are preparing work on the Town
Budget and as you can imagine, this is quiet
a difficult task with the pending state
cuts to each municipality. We will all work
hard to provide our residents with the best
possible, viable budget. During this time, I
welcome you input and as always, I am
available for comments, suggestions, and
concerns at any time throughout the year.

Starting Tuesday, April 4th- Ballroom Dancing

EVENING PROGRAMS AT THE CENTER
We are continuing to add some evening programs
at the Senior Center for our residents 60+.
Starting Tuesday, April 4th from 5:30-6:30 PM
Ballroom Dancing
Must register in front office during
office hours to participate. Come
and have some great fun and exercise
while learning the beautiful ballroom
dancing! Partners are not
necessary! Classes are FREE!

The Gray School of Irish Dance

The Gray School of Irish Dance will perform for us on March 17th at 1:30pm with a variety of Irish Dances including soft and hard shoe dances. The dances will include Reels, Jigs, Hornpipes (both contemporary and traditional), and Celtic dances. The dancers will be dressed in traditional Irish Dance costumes.

St Patrick’s Day Luncheon

St Patrick’s Day Luncheon will be held on Thursday, March 17th. Reservations need to be made by calling (860) 434-4322 before 10:45am on Tuesday, March 3rd.

How about knee and hip pain?

How about knee and hip pain? Join us on March 7th as Chris from Select Physical Therapy in Old Lyme discusses current concepts related to knee and hip pain and will demonstrate simple movements that can reduce your pain and improve your function! The last portion of the talk will be opened up to your individual questions.

Mayans of Mexico. Brandon Hall of Learn Around the World will provide insight a, pictures and video from his trip to view remnants of the Mayan’s in Mexico Please join us for this presentation

Grab your passports and hiking boots because we are exploring three Mayan cities on this program. While in the jungles of Mexico and Guatemala, you’ll tour the cities of Palenque, Tulum, and Tikal while learning about the Ancient Mayans. Explore the challenges of maintaining a “historic garden”, and the processes that are involved in ensuring that the gardens are kept as historically accurate as possible.
