Dear Seniors,

I have been meeting with the Director and we are working together to make sure that the Town of Montville is prepared for the continuing growth of the elderly population.  As we all know, the senior population is the fastest growing population in the country and is expected to continue to grow at a significant rate for decades to come.  I would like to make certain that in our Town, we are prepared for this growth and that our services and programs can match the population.  As always, I am available for comments, suggestions, and concerns.

News From the Greenhouse

It is winter and the activity in the greenhouse involves keeping the plants examined (for insects and/or fungi), repotted and watered.  We meet each Monday morning to discuss what to do in the upcoming growing season, to complain about (or enjoy) the cold weather and snow, or to discuss the latest movies, TV series or books. Have you noticed the little girl statue in the center of the annual garden?  Many thanks to Helen Krasun (“the hat lady”) for knitting a hat and scarf to keep her warm.  We have not yet named this statue, but how about “Rosie”? P.S. We could use more terracotta/clay pots if you have any around your homes your not using
