These are just two of the hundreds of enrichment programs that participants in the Senior Learning Network can enjoy. SLN provides distant learning opportunities for adults using interactive internet technology. Join us for one or all of the fascinating sessions we have planned! Presentations take place in Classroom 1 on our Smart TV. Topics and times are subject to change, based on presenter’s availability. $2.00 donation per session requested.

Club 55 is fundraising for a new LED sign!

Club 55 is heading the fundraising for a new LED sign to replace the current Groton Public Library and Groton Senior Center sign at the entrance to the campus. This sign will not only be promoting programs from the senior center and library but will also alert town residents to emergencies and provide emergency information. Donations for the sign can be accepted by Club 55 and will be greatly appreciated.

Saturday, April 8- RENT at Providence Performing Arts Center

In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway and forever changed the landscape of American theater. Two decades later, Jonathan Larson’s RENT continues to speak loudly and defiantly to audiences across generations and all over the world. Orchestra Seats – 2 pm show. Depart GSC at 12:30 pm – GSC transportation

March 4- New York City On Your Own

We provide the ride and worry about the parking. You enjoy the day! Trip cost includes coach transportation and driver gratuity. We depart at 7:30 am with approximate return of 8:30 pm. Fun for all ages!
