The Senior Club holds their monthly meeting on the first Friday of the month at 10:00am. (Unless Holiday or special event, in which it will be held the following Friday) Coffee & goodies will be available before and after meeting.

COLLECTING DONATIONS for our FOOD DRIVE

We are in the process of collecting donations for our Holiday Baskets. We provide Thanksgiving Food Baskets to our individuals, families, and seniors in need and Food & Toy Baskets are Christmas time. We are always in need of canned goods for both holidays and toys at Christmas if you would like to make a donation. Thank you for your support! All of the baskets made are giving to Montville residents.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets

for Montville individuals, families, and seniors in need.

Looking for our senior volunteer group once again to work on the sorting and preparations for our Holiday Food Baskets for those in need, in our town. We will begin sorting and preparing the baskets during the week of Monday, November 14th—Friday, November 18th. If you are interested in joining our Montville Senior Center Community Volunteer Group, please come down to the Center any day during the week to lend a hand. We will “officially” begin at approximately 10:00 AM on Monday the 14th. We would like to thank all of our past senior volunteers for all of their hard work and humbly ask again for your support! Trimming the Tree

On Friday, December 9th at 12:45pm., please join us as we get into the spirit of the season! We will be trimming the trees in the senior center, listening to festive music, and enjoying some holiday refreshments.

Salute to American Heroes Performance

Join us for the 75th Anniversary on the attack of Pearl Harbor on Wednesday, December 7th at 1:00pm as Husband and wife Duo, Broadway Cabaret Singer Karen Wagner and Classical Tenor/ Hartford Police Officer Robert Iovanna team up to pay tribute with their performance Salute to American Heroes. Teaming up, they will take us on a “Musical Walk Down Memory Lane”, honoring “American Heroes”, our Veteran’s, through a special patriotic musical tribute. Refreshments will be served following performance. Call if you have any questions about this free program.

Time: 10:am to 11:30am

No fee. Will teach if you do not know how to play.

We have paddles if you don’t have one.

Colored Pencils

Every Thursday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

No fee. Let us know you’re coming.

Limited supplies provided by the Senior Center or bring your own coloring paper and pencils. Come and join us for a relaxing afternoon. Soft music in the background, socialization with new friends – what could be nicer?
