First, enjoy a delicious lunch at Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub in Norwich (lunch on your own). Following lunch, a short ride will bring you to the beautiful Goodspeed Opera House for the 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of Cole Porter’s musical – Anything Goes! Set along the tranquil Connecticut River, the Goodspeed Opera House was built in 1876 by William Goodspeed. This intimate theater brings you closer to the excitement of live musicals and will delight, inspire and entertain you with their shows!

Anything Goes ~ Bon voyage! Set sail on a “de-lovely” cruise through some of Cole Porter’s most famous songs. A brassy nightclub singer, a starry-eyed stowaway and Public Enemy No. 13 are booked on a transatlantic luxury liner bound for romance and laughter. Hum along with an easy-to-love score packed with hits including “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “It’s De-Lovely,” “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” and more! This tap-happy classic docks at Goodspeed for the first time. A sure hit!

COST: $62 per person includes Anything Goes side orchestra show ticket and transportation.

Lunch is on your own at Ninety Nine Restaurant.

This trip will be using the Senior Center bus for transportation.
You are responsible to find your own ride to the Senior Center before and after the trip.

Following lunch enjoy the hilarious Matinee performance of One Slight Hitch!

It’s Courtney’s wedding day, and her mom, Delia, is making sure that everything is perfect. The groom is perfect, the dress is perfect, and the decorations (assuming they arrive) will be perfect. Then, like in any good farce, the doorbell rings and Courtney’s ex-boyfriend (unaware of her engagement) has arrived for an unannounced visit. So much for perfect!

Following the Matinee, return to your seat in the dining room for a fun-filled Cabaret Show!

Baby Boomer Dinner and Dancing with Michael Ciulla

Baby Boomer Dinner & Dancing with Michael Ciulla, a NYC professionally trained singer, actor, and voiceover artist with extensive professional experience will perform for us on Friday April 8th at 6:00pm at the Lymes’ Senior Center. He will perform music from such artists as Frank Sinatra, Nat Cole, Count Basie, Dean Martin, Louis Jordan, Cole, Irving Berlin and Glenn Miller. Louis Prima, Bobby Darin, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. Tickets need to be purchased in advance. Ticket price is $15.00 and includes Caesar Salad, Cheese Lasagna, Garlic Bread, and red wine/soda/water and a ticket to the show! Feel Free to bring your dancing shoes!!
