Coloring has been found to relieve stress/anxiety, helps you relax, helps the brain focus and concentrate. Join us for this fun way to unwind.

Thursdays, March 10 – April 28 11am – 12pm
Classroom 3 Cost: $8 for 8 week session

We have many options of pages to color and pencils.

This event is for those 55 and older. Yet, NOT just for Groton residents. Come with friends or with a date!

BROADWAY PICK ~ The Lion King OR An American In Paris We are going to Broadway, for TWO of Broadway’s hottest shows! YOU PICK which one you see. Our great seats are in Orchestra/ Front Mezzanine for the shows. Before the show, we enjoy a family style meal at the famous Buca di Beppo. Then off to the shows we go where our imaginations are taken on fantastic rides! Our motorcoach will transport passengers to the shows.

AARP TAX-AIDE PROGRAM

AARP TAX-AIDE PROGRAM

The AARP Tax-Aide program provides free tax counseling and preparation for  middle to low-income taxpayers with special attention to those people aged 60 and over. The Tax Advisors are available for the months of March and April on Monday and Friday mornings at 9am. Appointments must be made by calling the Senior Center and the slots are filling up. Taxpayers are asked to provide their:

  1. Personal Identification and Social Security Number,
  2. Copies of your 2014 Federal and CT tax returns, and
  3. All 2015 income reports that have been received (SSA-1099 forms, all 1099 forms, W-2 forms, Unemployment Compensation Forms), and all other Forms that indicate Federal and/or CT income taxes paid in 2015, and
  4. Any documentation showing original cost of sold assets in 2015.
