Transportation Services through the Senior Center
The East Lyme Senior Center provides transit services to residents of the Town of East Lyme who are 60+ or under 60 with a disability which prevents them from driving. This service runs Monday through Friday and operates between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm, barring any holidays. See the attached Explanation of Services. Detailed Services

Dial-a-Ride Grant for Medical Transportation for Senior/Disabled Individuals
The Caregiver Mileage Reimbursement and Medical Transportation program is for seniors 60+ and persons with disabilities who either are unable to drive, utilize public transportation, or when the service hours of town funded senior transportation are unable to meet their needs and is only available to the residents of participating towns. This service is funded through a state grant and is contingent upon availability of grant funds. This program is provided through the Eastern Connecticut Transportation Consortium, Inc. ECTC is a private, non-profit agency that brokers and provides transit services for persons of low income, seniors, and persons with disabilities. See the attached Explanation of Services.
