Thrive55+ Active Living Center (powered by Groton Senior Center) is the premiere location for nutrition, health and technology and recreational classes, special events and trips, transportation, information and referral services for Groton residents 55 years and older. Programs in health, computers/technology, finance, fitness, art, enrichment and more are offered year-round and there are special events constantly throughout the year. We are active, social and involved and welcome all not only Groton residents. You have to see us to believe us; stop by for a tour of our fun and friendly Thrive55+ Active Living Center (powered by Groton Senior Center) Visit Thrive55+ Active Living Center for a delicious breakfast, snack and/or lunch prepared daily by our chef in Coastal Cafe.

Get out of the house this winter and please join us for our annual variety show with staff and local seniors (anyone 55 and older) as entertainers!

Mmm the menu: Italian cheese stuffed meatloaf, cheddar bacon seasoned haddock, marinara sauce, mashed potatoes, Monaco blend vegetables, rolls, white & chocolate mousse cake, punch, coffee.

The show begins after dinner. Cost: $15 per person

Our Winter Ball dinner and dance is was postponed to Saturday, February 29th 5– 8 PM at Groton Senior Center located at 102 Newtown Road, Groton, CT 06340

Groton Senior Center is still taking reservations for this wonderful evening created just for YOU!  Groton Senior Center is a recreational center for anyone 55 plus in Southeastern CT.  We turn the main room into a winter wonderland and celebrate with a delicious dinner then after we dance, dance, dance the night away.  Your dinner consists of Apple Cranberry Stuffed Pork Roast, Mango Tilapia Fish, Broccoli Normandy, Twice Baked Potato, rolls, punch & coffee and Cheese Cake.  What a wonderful night!  Cost is $15 pp register by Feb 25th. 860-441-6785 or register online at www.grotonrec.com
