Please join us as we day trip to Colchester Mill Fabrics is Connecticut’s favorite Fabric Store & Quilt Shop. They are a family owned business serving sewers, quilters, and crafters from our full-service retail fabric store in Colchester, Connecticut since 1975.
Cost: $8 GSC bus

* Groton Senior Center is a division of Groton Town Parks & Recreation Dept. hence  most of our trips are not just for Groton seniors – most are open to the public.

* Payment is required at time of sign up for our trips!  Spots cannot be held without payment.

* An additional $10 fee is charged per non resident for day trips.

* One must be independent to attend a GSC trip.

*We offer day and extended trips around the US and abroad.  Great for singles, couples, families – there’s something for everyone and all ages.

Reserving Tables at Special Events

We are happy to reserve a table for you. We will only reserve tables of 8 or tables of 4. You must provide the names of everyone & full payment when you reserve a table.

*Walk-ins will only be taken if there is space available.

Fee for walking in will be an additional $3.00 to the event.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS INFORMATION

Snow cancellations and early closings are on the following stations:  Television – Channel 2 and WFSB Channel 3.  Radio Stations WNLC (98.7), WICH (1310 am), WCTY (97.7) and K-HITS (100.9) .

Closing of the center includes the Fitness Center and Coastal Café.  If schools are delayed, the center will open at 8:30 and transportation will start at 9am.  If you are not sure, please call the center. The center will not reopen until the parking lot and sidewalks are plowed for your safety.
