Programs in health, computers/technology, finance, fitness, art, enrichment and more are offered year-round and there are special events constantly throughout the year. Saturday, February 3, 2018- Souper Bowl Saturday

Time: 5:00pm to 7:00pm

As part of Super Bowl weekend this event pairs food with sports. Participants have opportunity to sample a variety of seasonal soups from local restaurants while bidding on various sports memorabilia. This event attracts sports enthusiasts young and old. The event is designed  to allow local restaurants an  opportunity to showcase their signature soup to the community. This is one of a few events that help create a sense of community and positively impact the Quality of the Place in Groton.

Advanced Registration: $10 per person; $12 per person at the door
Hand Painted soup bowl to the first 150 people

Sports Memorabilia Raffle- $20 for 25 tickets

Wednesday, February 28th- Move Showing: The Mountain Between Us

Time: 1:00pm

Movies are shown the last Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Concession snacks will be available for purchase. Free drinks

The Mountain Between Us  (2017 rated PG13) When their plane crashes into the side of a mountain, two strangers forge a friendship based on necessity. If they want to survive while waiting for help, they will need to work together. However, it quickly become obvious that no help will be arriving anytime soon. In order to get back to the only world they know, they will need to make an incredible trek. Risking their lives in order to save them, these two will test the boundaries of nature-and their budding relationship. Idris Elba and Kate Winslet star.

  • Able to toilet themselves
  • Able to feed themselves
  • Be able to self-ambulate
  • Be oriented to their current surroundings
  • Behave in a non-aggressive and non-disruptive manner
  • Maintain clean body and clothing
  • Participate in activities or programs appropriate for them
  • Have the desire to participate in programs or activities.

Persons not meeting the required criteria are welcome; however, they must be escorted by a knowledgeable caregiver.
