Thrive55+ Active Living Center (powered by Groton Senior Center) is the premiere location for nutrition, health and technology and recreational classes, special events and trips, transportation, information and referral services for Groton residents 55 years and older. Programs in health, computers/technology, finance, fitness, art, enrichment and more are offered year-round and there are special events constantly throughout the year. We are active, social and involved and welcome all not only Groton residents. You have to see us to believe us; stop by for a tour of our fun and friendly Thrive55+ Active Living Center (powered by Groton Senior Center) Visit Thrive55+ Active Living Center for a delicious breakfast, snack and/or lunch prepared daily by our chef in Coastal Cafe.

desserts. No reservations required. Kitchen take-out is also available! March and April featured entrée menus

GROTON residents: Call our front desk by 10:30 am for home delivery 860-441-6785. Two dollars ($2.00) per
household delivery- not per person. If two people order and it goes to the same address it is still only $2.
Be green! Bring your own container for take out meals or soups and get 50 cents off
entrée or soup. PLEASE NOTE: We don’t give out bags so please bring your own carry
out bag.

Across the Nation volunteers are being celebrated in April, at Thrive 55+ we celebrate our volunteers everyday!

Did you know that the Thrive 55+ volunteers gave a total of 10,613 hours in 2024?!
Thrive 55+ currently has 240 volunteers and 14 self-led volunteer committees. Our volunteers help out in many capacities such as being on committees, special events, tech center, Club 55, cove baristas, ambassadors, community service, gardening, clerical, front desk, special projects, community sewing projects, special events and much more!
