As a reminder, Wednesday, October 16^th is the date of our annual clinic.  Persons who have registered for the clinic will have received written correspondence regarding the event or in some cases, personal contact or a telephone call.  We will have a volunteer assisting with the parking arrangements.  Handicapped parking is available in the rear of the building.  If you need to use a wheelchair, please call the Senior Affairs Office in advance of clinic day to ensure that one will be available for you.  We ask that if possible, that you remain with us for 10 to 15 minutes to ensure that you do not encounter any adverse reaction to the injections.  This will give you a great opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors and partake in a light refreshment.

The Town of East Lyme is looking for someone to act as  its representative to the TVCCA Board. The meetings are quarterly at 5:30pm in the Conference Room of UCFS Health Center at 47 Town Street in Norwich, CT.

Everyone is encouraged to get the vaccine. The only exception are those folks allergic to eggs. Please wear a short sleeve shirt to the clinic.
If you do not have insurance, if you forget your insurance card, or if the V.N.A.S.C. cannot bill your insurance company, you will be asked to pay by check or cash.

New London Senior Center and Visiting Nurses Association are partnering to provide free foot care to New London seniors once per month.

Vaccine covered by Medicare and the Medicare Advantage Plans for Aetna, Anthem and

ConnectiCare or the following insurance companies: Aetna, Anthem (including Blue Cross/Blue Shield), ConnectiCare and Cigna.  There is a fee for anyone not covered by Medicare or insurance.

Please bring a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card or Medicare card to provide your identification and information needed to bill your insurance.
