Meals for homebound, shut-ins, or convalescents: Arrangements must be made for home delivery by calling TVCCA at 860-885-2746 in advance of need.

Looking for Volunteers

If you are looking for a way to give back, volunteers are needed here for the following things:

Teach a class – Do you have a skill? Share it with others

Senior Ambassadors – Introduce new visitors to the Center

Intergenerational Program – Visit a local elementary school and work with children in the classroom

The Cove Cafe – Help with evening programs and refreshments

Technology Center – Assist others with their devices

Special Events – We are looking for help with events like the Mystic Muddy Mayhem Mud Run on April 29

It is personalized help for you to master your cell phone!

Please bring your charged cell phone and question/concern.

Club 55 is fundraising for a new LED sign!

Club 55 is heading the fundraising for a new LED sign to replace the current Groton Public Library and Groton Senior Center sign at the entrance to the campus. This sign will not only be promoting programs from the senior center and library but will also alert town residents to emergencies and provide emergency information. Donations for the sign can be accepted by Club 55 and will be greatly appreciated.

March 12th- DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

If you’re tired winter’s dark afternoons, hold on just a little while longer. Daylight saving time 2017 will start on March 12 at 2 a.m. On March 11 before you go to bed, you’ll need to set your clocks

Please join us FRIDAY, March 10th for our monthly social breakfast event!! Each month the breakfasts featured is different but the fun is always good! Door prizes too! It is only $5 per person.

Thursday, March 16th- Free Hearing Aid Cleaning & Check-Up

Have your hearing aids professionally cleaned and checked by Bob Sawyer.
He gives free hearing screenings, hearing aid information, hearing aid cleaning and maintenance on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

Bob is a State Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences by the International Hearing Society.

Blood Pressure Clinic- Volunteer R.N. is held at the Senior Center for blood pressure checks the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This is a free service and appointments are not necessary.
