The Groton DEI Collaborative has partnered with Triangle Community Center to offer an LGBTQ+ training series. The trainings have been split into two groups, 101 sessions and 201 sessions. The trainings will be held virtually via Zoom and are 1.5 hours each. The goal of the trainings is to engage participants in a thorough overview of what it means to be LGBTQ. From terminology and definitions to rethinking traditional assumptions about gender and sexuality, and creating community allies.
Both the 101 and 201 training sessions will be available to Town employees, elected officials, and Groton community members. Spaces are limited, 25 people per session, so please register early. Registration link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GrotonLGBTQtrainings
