GUITAR JAM- Mondays from 2:00-4:00pm

Any person who can play an instrument is welcome. Must register your interest to participate for the session.

 

QUILTING- First Monday, Third Friday and Last Tuesday of the Month

New session starts on Jan 9th ends on Mar 28th.

Quilting is held at the following times:

1st Monday of the month at 1:00pm

3rd Friday of the month at 4:30pm

Last Tuesday of the month at 4:30pm

$2pp drop in fee on Fri and Tue – No drop in fee on Mon

Registration is required.

 

Yoga- Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-10:00am

In person instruction on Tue and Thu at 9am.
24 classes. Class fee $48R and $53NR.

Gentle Yoga is suitable for all ages and any experience level but is especially adaptable for the varied levels of fitness and flexibility of older adults. A simple chair can be used to help provide support allowing anyone to participate and gain the enjoyment of the exercise. You will learn breathing techniques, work on balance, and build strength. Modifications are always available. Please bring a mat, towel and water. Wear comfortable clothes.

Advanced Mahjong

Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.

The Wednesday Advanced Mahjong group is looking for more players! You need to have experience and knowledge of how to play the game to join. If you are unsure about joining, you can watch the group play. If you decide this group is for you, please be aware you will need to purchase a National Mahjong League (NMJL) card to play. The group meets weekly in the Art Room. Come join the fun!

Reovery Support Group

Wednesday, December 18th at 1:00 p.m.

If you or a loved one has been affected by substance abuse/recovery, please join us.

These meetings are based on the idea that there are great benefits in bringing individuals together from various pathways of recovery to share and learn from one another. Join Nurse Barbara as she leads this monthly group discussion and gives support. Meetings are open to any senior in recovery along with seniors who have a loved one struggling with substance abuse or impacted by addiction.

Group meetings will be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m.
