National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) exists to inspire, educate and empower the public and providers about the importance of advance care planning. NHDD is an initiative to encourage patients to express their wishes regarding healthcare and for providers and facilities to respect those wishes, whatever they may be. If you would like help in filling out a Living Will form or would like more information about the process, Attorney Jeff McNamara will be available at the Senior Center.

We will create a windowsill herb planter using 3 different herbs. Plastic planter has 3 pots with attached saucer. Lightweight and perfect for your windowsill. When it gets warmer, the herbs can be brought outside. We will talk about different herbs, and participants can choose from a vast assortment of herb plants. We will talk about the herbs and uses for all of them.

Join Wellness Coach and Pharmacist Lisa Bragaw from Zen & Now Wellness Center once a month. At each session, Lisa will introduce breathing techniques and some very easy to implement mindfulness tools and strategies you can use anytime to bring more ease into your life.
This group will meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

The loss of a spouse or partner is often one of the hardest losses we will encounter. Our lives turn upside down. You ask yourself, “How will I survive and feel all alone?” You are not alone. This group will offer a safe and private space for you to learn from others and understand that there are others sharing this similar experience. The group is peer to peer support with a trained peer facilitator from the Brian Dagle Foundation.
This group meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center.

The AARP Smart Driver course is the nation’s first refresher course specifically
designed for drivers age 50 and older. In many states, drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance premium upon completing the course. Contact your insurance company to find out. And you will learn something new along the way. In fact, an evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants changed at least one driving habit as a result of what they learned.
$20 for AARP member $25 for non-AARP member
