Art Class: Floral Arrangements in Watercolor

Mondays, August 8th and August 15th from 1:00-3:00pm

 

Students will paint from a still life of flowers set up in class. The approach will be loose, washy and more abstract than real. These will be fun and relaxing sessions. The lesson will center on color, value (dark/light) and composition.

Cost is $20.00 for two week session– sign up and payment due in advance

AARP Mature Driver Safety Class

Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:15am-1:15pm

 

The AARP Smart Driver course is the nation’s first refresher course specifically designed for drivers age 50 and older. In many states, drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance premium upon completing the course. Contact your insurance company to find out. And you will learn something new along the way. In fact, an evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants changed at least one driving habit as a result of what they learned.

 

$20 for AARP member $25 for non-AARP member

Tie Dye Party

Bring in your own white t-shirt and we will take a trip to the 60’s and create some tie dye fun.
