April Food Distribution- Friday, June 3rd from 10:00-11:00am

The next date of our Food Distribution will be on Friday, June 3rd from
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Preston Senior Center. A special note of thanks to all of
the patient participants at the March 4th program. Unfortunately, the UC&FS
vehicles were stuck in Norwich traffic and were delayed in their anticipated arrival
at the Preston Senior Center. None the less, our team of dedicated volunteers
distributed 125 bags of groceries to Preston residents and nonresidents alike on
that cold, cold, windy day. We’re most appreciative to United Community &
Family Services for continuing to support this valuable program in Preston
regardless of the obstacles placed before them. Routinely, our food distributions
occur on the First Friday of each month and are held at the Preston Senior Center,
42 Long Society Road. (Anticipated distribution date for next month is May 6th).

Game Day: Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00pm

Mondays are Game Day at the senior center. We have a wide selection of games
available for participants or bring your own game. The activities usually begin at
1:00 p.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m. The choices are endless and the participants
are eager to learn new games or help teach newcomers a game that they are
unfamiliar with. It’s a day to relax and have fun.
