“As the Page Turns Book Club” – Third Friday of the Month

Copies of the selected book are available at the Lyme Library circulation desk. Just ask a staff member about picking up a copy. This is a collaborative effort between the Lyme Library and the Lymes’ Senior Center and will be facilitated by Librarian Melissa Fournier. Please email me at sgould@oldlyme-ct.gov OR call (860) 434-4127 to register. Club will meet the third Friday of the month alternating between the senior center and the library.

 

Decoding Medicare- Tuesday, May 24th at 1:00pm

Decoding Medicare: How to Navigate with Choices Counselor Susan Beeman. This will be offered in-person and virtually; please signify which when you register.

Muchies Food Truck- Monday, May 23rd at 1:00pm

The Munchie Wagon is coming back to the Senior Center.
Bring a chair and meet a friend and buy lunch! Or visit the Library and then buy lunch!
Wonderful homemade food!

Paper Roses with Mary- Friday, May 13th at 10:00am

Paper Roses made from colorful cardstock paper. Make a
beautiful arrangement for you to keep or give as a gift. You’ll
leave class wanting to make more at home! Class is free.
Please bring a pair of scissors. If you have a glue gun please
bring that along. If not, we’ll share. All other materials will be
provided. Registration begins May 2nd.

**NEW** Drum Circle- Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00pm

New program begins May 3rd – July 26th (no class July 5th).
Play a drum. create easy rhythms. Connect with others. Experience a fun, therapeutic drumming program for all abilities that energizes you while relieving depression, stress and tension. Some  drums are available for use or you can bring your own. No experience necessary. Register with the Senior Center. No fee required

MUSIC APPRECIATION CLASS- Mondays at 1pm

Starting Mon, Apr 4th and ends Jun 20th.

Have fun listening to your favorite songs you grew up with and learn some basic music theory. The instructor will then play a song live showing lyrics and chords. Knowing how to read music is not necessary and no instrument is needed.
Class fee $55R & $60NR.
