The Groton DEI Collaborative has partnered with Triangle Community Center to offer an LGBTQ+ training series to Town staff, officials, and Groton community members. The trainings have been split into two groups, 101 sessions and 201 sessions. The trainings will be held virtually via Zoom and are 1.5 hours each. The goal of the trainings is to engage participants in a thorough overview of what it means to be LGBTQ+. From terminology and definitions to rethinking traditional assumptions about gender and sexuality, and creating community allies.
Spaces are limited, 25 people per session, so please register early. There are no pre-recorded training sessions. Also, please note, this is an elective training. Registration link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GrotonLGBTQtrainings
