When registering for any of the trips listed below, you can sign up yourself and one other person only. Payment is due upon registration. Please stop by the Senior Center office.

Senior Center Day Trips use a bus from the Center for transport to and from the destinations.  Number of seats very limited.

Departure time: 11:15am

Return time: 3:30pm

Wed, Mar 25th – We’re heading to The 99 Restaurant in Groton. Departure time is 11:15am and estimated return home is 3:30pm. Trip fee is $5pp.

Wed, Mar 11th – Join us for a lunch trip to The Steak Loft in Mystic. Departure time is 11:15am and estimated return home is 3:30pm. Trip fee is $5pp.

Meal: Irish Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup, Irish Apple Cake and a Mini Mint Shake

Cost:$6pp

Reservations begin on March 2nd. Last day to reserve will be March 18th.

Cost: $4.50pp suggested donation.

Meal: Corned Beef & Cabbage, Steamed Potatoes, Sliced Carrots, and Irish Soda Bread

Pass Class

Weight Lifting is designed for the older adult who wants to improve their health. Participants will get stronger as well as maintain the integrity of their bone mass, improve one’s balance, coordination and mobility. Weight Lifting will also reduce the signs and symptoms of arthritis. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes. The class utilizes treadmills, stationery bikes, cross trainers, nautilus weight lifting equipment as well as free weights all under the supervision of a personal fitness trainer.

If learning to draw is on your bucket list, come join the Senior Center on Thursdays mornings from 10am to 11:30am. Bring your own basic supplies; drawing pencils, sketch pads, and kneaded erasers.

Absolutely no experience necessary. Join others who are learning along with you.

All levels of skills welcome.
