Best Wishes to Camille Lord

Thank you and BEST WISHES to longtime Line Dancing instructor, Camille Lord.  Camille has decided to step aside from teaching our Line Dancing class on Mondays

and we wanted to extend our sincere gratitude to her for being a huge part of our center for so long.

With that said, Dance Country has agreed to take over the Line Dancing instruction for us.  Our group will be led by Margaret Carroll, who led the class during Camille’s break last winter.

St. Vincent de Paul Place Donations

Thank you to everyone who recently donated items for St. Vincent de Paul Place.  With your help, we donated multiple boxes full of items along with gift cards and money!  These donations helped to make someone’s holiday a little brighter.  Thank you for your donations!

Thank you Tim Baffaro

A BIG Thank You to Tim Baffaro for the wonderful Holiday Entertainment he provided in December!  Tim is a former member of the Rose City Senior Center and was active in the Golden Nuggets and Roseland Combo.  The delightful musical entertainment, including a holiday sing-a-long and songs performed by Tim on the trumpet, was enjoyed by all.  Thank you Tim for the wonderful afternoon!

Roseland Combo Holiday Concert

Thank You to Rose City Senior Center’s concert band, Roseland Combo for entertaining us in December with a very special Holiday Concert!  The amazing music was very much appreciated by everyone in attendance.  This very talented band consists of Senior Center members ~ Paulette Devino, Mike Manning, Phil Murtha, Lolita Wood and Bill Wrobel.  Thank you for the wonderful concert!

Tuesdays- Pilates

Time: 8:30 am

Pilates is designed to strengthen the core, abdominals, back, shoulders and hips with total mind & body core conditioning.  Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, and develops control and endurance in the whole human body.  This class is a floor based exercise class.  Please bring a yoga mat with you.

It’s Cold & Flu Season

If you are not feeling well, please stay home until you are symptom free!

You will be helping other Senior Center members as well as the Senior Center staff stay healthy by keeping out of the Senior Center and staying home until you are feeling better.

By taking some time away from the Senior Center, seeing your physician and resting, you will hopefully improve your health and get better faster while helping to maintain the health of others.

Thank you for doing your part and staying home if you are not feeling well!
