* What is CONTRA DANCING? ~ If Swing dancing and Square dancing met in a bar, you’d find contra dancing!
* You can come by yourself, or with a friend, or as a couple. There are partners a plenty for everyone!
* Please wear non-marking shoes that move easily on the floor.
* It is advisable to wear layers of casual clothing for this fun, energetic & exercise.
* The music is performed live. The music consists mainly of Irish, New England, and Quebecois jigs and reels, with an occasional waltz tossed in.
* There’s no smoking and alcohol drinking but there’s plenty of dancing and fun!.
