NOTES:
* What is CONTRA DANCING? ~ If Swing dancing and Square dancing met in a bar, you’d find contra dancing!
* You can come by yourself, or with a friend, or as a couple. There are partners a plenty for everyone!
* Please wear non-marking shoes that move easily on the floor.
* It is advisable to wear layers of casual clothing for this fun, energetic & exercise.
* The music is performed live. The music consists mainly of Irish, New England, and Quebecois jigs and reels, with an occasional waltz tossed in.
* There’s no smoking and alcohol drinking but there’s plenty of dancing and fun!.

Weekly we have had the distinct pleasure of having AT&T Get Wireless come here, volunteered and generously and very effectively helped countless numbers of patrons with their cell phone issues of all kinds! A very special thank you to their CT Regional Manager Steve Pistel for his great energy and commitment to helping our friends!!  THANK YOU STEVE!

Come to a fun class on container gardening and herbs presented by Karen Parker and Liza Dalrymple.  Learn the do’s and don’t of container gardening and pick up ideas for your own garden.  Discuss the Materia medica for parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme and peppermint.  Creative and fun ways of incorporating into tasty treats and healing uses. Who can apply: Residents 65 years or older as of 12/31/17, or totally and permanently disabled residents as of 12/31/17, who paid rent (partial or full year) in Connecticut in 2017.

Income Guidelines: Up to $35,300 for singles; $43,000 for married couples Application Dates: April 2 – October 1, 2018 What You Need to Apply: Copy of 2017 income tax, if filed Rent receipts from 2017 Verification of utility bills paid in 2017 (electricity, propane/oil, water) Copies of all 2017 income (wages, SSA-1099, pension, interest, etc.) Rebates of up to $700 for singles and $900 for married couples.
