Mixed Media and Watercolor

Mixed Media and Watercolor Mondays 10 am to 12 noon, May 7 to June 18 (no class May 28). 6 week class $35. To register email Sharon at s.star@comcast.net. This class is open to beginning and advanced students. Playful experimenting will be combined with exercises that will give you a framework to try out new ideas. The instructor will introduce concepts and demos at the beginning of each class. There have been numerous requests for more instruction in watercolor, so the majority of the demos will be in watercolor. Individual instruction is given throughout class. Class fee is due when you register, refunds only if instructor cancels.

The Internet: How To Use It Effectively

The Internet is now part of our everyday lives; however, it can be a very scary undertaking when just getting started. In this class you will learn what the Internet is, how to use it effectively, and most importantly, how to stay safe. Join us on May 7th at 1:00pm and we will discuss what a browser is, how to search for specific websites, online safety resources and more. Wednesday, May 9th- Little Log Preschool Get Together

Little Log has been a big part of the senior center over the years.

Little Log preschoolers and staff will return for one last get together. They have been a big part of the senior center over the years and we will miss them. We will doing a card stamping project and some spring plantings with the preschoolers. If you would like to join us please call to sign up.

 

Saturday, April 21st- Community Clean up Day

Lets get some spring cleaning done in our town! Get a group of your friends to Adopt-A-Road or help your neighbor clean up their yard.
​Transfer Station will be open from 7:00 to 1:00 pm
No pass required!! Watch for upcoming flyers or call the senior center for more information.

Thank you to Senior Center Volunteer Cora Landry for her help with set-up for our Annual St. Patrick’s Day Corned Beef and Cabbage Fundraiser Dinner.  Also, to the very talented Judy Gray for her wonderful Irish music and songs during the event.

A BIG THANK YOU to the wonderful NFA Honor Society students who served the meal and helped clean up!  We would also like to thank Irene’s Family Restaurant for their donation of pizza to feed the hungry NFA students and of course to Ed Meadows for helping Director Mike in the kitchen!
