“They Called Her Reckless – A true story of War, Love and One Extraordinary Horse”

Guest speaker:  Author Janet Barret – Her experiences as a horsewoman gave her a particular appreciation of the tight bond that developed between Reckless and her fellow Marines, from which the story springs.

Holiday Bingo

December 14th at 1:00pm we will be holding a Holiday Bingo. Admission is $1.00 at the door.

Do’s and the Don’ts of Feeding Birds

Linda Turner of Plantasia will be here on December 13th at 1:00pm to discuss the do’s and the don’ts of feeding birds, what seeds for what birds, best squirrel proof feeders, and will show slides of typical birds we see in the winter in our area.

Old Lyme Town Band Holiday Concert

Join us on Sunday, December 11th at 2:00pm as the Old Lyme Town Band will be at the Lymes’ Senior Center to perform their holiday concert. All our welcome to attend!! Come get into the holiday spirit with us. This is open for all so bring your spouse, kids, and grandkids with you as we all get festive!

Thanksgiving Food Baskets

for Montville individuals, families, and seniors in need.

Looking for our senior volunteer group once again to work on the sorting and preparations for our Holiday Food Baskets for those in need, in our town. We will begin sorting and preparing the baskets during the week of Monday, November 14th—Friday, November 18th. If you are interested in joining our Montville Senior Center Community Volunteer Group, please come down to the Center any day during the week to lend a hand. We will “officially” begin at approximately 10:00 AM on Monday the 14th. We would like to thank all of our past senior volunteers for all of their hard work and humbly ask again for your support! Please call for details, information, or to offer your hand!
