During these hot summer days, we hope that you are staying cool and taking advantage of the Senior Center as our cooling center for Seniors. Anyone
who is vulnerable to heat and humidity is advised to take precautions. Also, please remember to visit ‘Updates from the Mayor’ from the Mayor’s webpage for the most recent updates on road closures, detours and road construction; as well as other events going on in the community.

Updated Info on St. Mary’s Food Pantry

The food pantry is open for shopping on each Tuesday from 10:00am-4:00pm for In person shopping.  Each family is allowed a maximum of 2 visits per month. 

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAGS!!!

 

Alzheimer’s Caretaker Support Group via ZOOM

Reminder: July Food Distribution

The Food Distribution for July 5th has been cancelled due to the
holiday. We’ll be back in business and eagerly awaiting your arrival for the
August 2nd distribution. Look forward to seeing you then. We are most
appreciative to United Community & Family Services to continue this
important program at the Preston Senior Center. We welcome residents
and non-residents alike. We are also fortunate to include the Uncas Health
Mobile van at each monthly program. Nurses are available to answer
health questions, provide their monthly newsletter, take blood pressure, etc.
