COST: $38 per person – Includes the Big E entrance fee and transportation. Driver tip is not included in the price of the trip.

Join us on Opening Day at The Big E for a day full of fun!  It’s the last blast of Summer! This year is the 100th anniversary of The Big E Fair!  The Big E is the largest fair in New England with great fun and entertainment such as, The Big E Super Circus, the Avenue of States, Storrowton Village Museum, Farm-A-Rama, the Daily Parade, plus an array of exhibits, rides, shopping, crafts, and TONS of foods.  Don’t forget to try The Big E Cream Puff or The Big Éclair!  Opening Day at The Big E is also Military Appreciation Day!

This trip has Minimal Walking

COST: $70 per person includes roundtrip motorcoach, fabulous buffet lunch, matinee performance of “A Whole Lotta Cheatin’ Going On”, and cabaret show. Driver tip is not included.

Start with a delicious buffet luncheon with all foods prepared on the premises.
Following lunch enjoy the hilarious Matinee performance of A Whole Lotta Cheatin’ Going On!
Following the Matinee, return to your seat in the dining room for a fun-filled Cabaret Show!

Cost: $2.00 (Lunch is on your own!)

Bus leaves Norwich Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. and returns approx. 3:00 p.m.
Sign up at Reception (by phone or in person) starting on July 1st

First stop will be for lunch at Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock in New London.  This casual, outdoor restaurant is a local summer favorite for seafood lovers!  They offer the freshest seafood at reasonable prices.  Not a seafood lover?  They also offer hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken sandwiches.  Captain Scott’s is located right on the water with beautiful views of downtown New London and Shaw’s Cove Marinas. (Please note: Dining is outdoors with a covered seating area available).

After lunch a short ride will bring you to Historic Downtown Mystic.  Here you will have time on your own to explore over 40 specialty shop, boutiques and galleries.  You can also visit Mystic Museum of Art to enjoy the current art exhibit or just sit by the water at Mystic River Park with views of the Mystic River Bascule Bridge and enjoy the day.  In the mood for a sweet treat?  Be sure to head over to Mystic Sweets Shoppe, Lis’ Bake Shop or Mystic Drawbridge Ice Cream before you leave!

Wed, September 21st –  Trip to The Big E (celebrating its 100th Anniversary) in Springfield, MA. Trip fee is $45pp.  Lunch not included. Registration begins July 1st. Lots of walking.  Big E

Wed, September 14th – Guided tour of the Revolutionary Days points of interest in the Boston area. Lunch included. Trip fee is $88. Registration begins July 1st. Lots of walking

Sun, August 21st – Trip being planned to the Stageloft Theatre in Sturbridge, MA to see “Wrong Window!” with lunch at the Salem Cross Inn before the show. Trip fee is $73pp. Registration begins June 1st. Minimal walking.

Sun, August 7th – See New York City from a new perspective – the New York Harbor. Join us for a 2 hour cruise on one of the Hornblower’s vessels and enjoy a Sunday Buffett Brunch with Jazz entertainment and then a DJ for dancing. Trip fee is $94pp. Registration begins June 1st. Moderate walking.
