Let us do the driving and you plan your day! A great opportunity to finish your holiday shopping or just enjoy all the endless sights New York City as to offer. Be amazed at the Winter Wonderland the city transforms into at the Holidays!

 

Your drop off and pick up location will be near Radio City Music Hall.

We will be leaving New York City at 5:30pm.

Enjoy a favorite holiday tradition in NYC starring the Rockettes!
Thursday, December 12th

Your festive day starts with time on your own to have lunch and see the sights in NYC at Christmas. With endless restaurants, cafés and bakeries, you will have plenty to choose from. Next, enjoy the 2:00pm performance of Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular! After the show you will have time on your own to see the Rockefeller Tree and grab a bite to eat before we leave NYC at 5:30pm.

The Rockettes have been charming New York City with the Christmas Spectacular since 1933, and has become one of the city’s most popular holiday traditions. The 90-minute show will immerse you in the magic of the holidays and includes beloved favorite Rockettes numbers ‘Parade of The Wooden Soldiers’ and ‘New York at Christmas’ along with the ‘Living Nativity’ and a visit from Santa!

COST: $167 per person includes charter bus transportation and Christmas Spectacular Orchestra section 200 show ticket*. Driver tip is not included.

Drop off and Pick up will involve some walking to & from Radio City Music Hall.

*Christmas Spectacular tickets will only be distributed via mobile tickets. You must have a smart phone.

Trip: “A Christmas Story” – Goodspeed Opera House

Thursday, December 19th

Departing senior center at 10:45am, 5:30pm approximate return time

 

First, enjoy lunch at Olive Garden (lunch on your own). Following lunch, a short ride will bring you to Goodspeed Opera House for the musical version of the beloved movie classic ~ A Christmas Story.

The only thing little Ralphie wants for Christmas is a BB gun. But to get it, he
must navigate all the obstacles of the yuletide season. Will a neighborhood
bully, a strict school teacher, a distracted dad and a department store Santa
thwart his quest? There’s something for everyone in this hilarious love letter to
Christmas past. A package of naughty and nice nostalgia to warm your winter!

This trip will be using the Senior Center bus for transportation.
You are responsible to find your own ride to the SC before the trip and home from the SC after.
COST: $66 per person includes A Christmas Story side orchestra ticket and transportation.

While you feast on a fantastic dinner, a murder was committed.   Detectives enter the room, proceed to interrogate guests, and start an investigation.   The culprit is hiding in plain sight and you may find yourself as the prime suspect!   The mystery unfolds as more clues are discovered but along the way there are gags and hilarious audience-participating events.   Who did it?   Conjure up the sleuth in you and crack the case!

The greatest city in the world is so much more magical during the holidays!   Our motorcoach will make multiple drop offs throughout Manhattan- From uptown, through midtown, to downtown.   Take in a holiday show, marvel at the stores window displays, or visit the ever-popular Santaland at Macy’s. Lace up your skates for a twirl around the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink as the world-famous Christmas tree glows from above.   The day is yours to do as you please.   At the end of our adventure, we will depart at 7:00 pm from a central location for a relaxing ride home.

The Holocaust: What Hate Can Do- Self-Guided Tour. The mission of the Museum is to educate people of all ages and backgrounds about the broad tapestry of Jewish life in the 20th and 21st centuries -before, during, and after the Holocaust. Multiple perspectives on modern Jewish history, life and culture are presented in the unique Core Exhibition and award-winning special exhibitions. Museum closes at 5pm. All visitors to the Museum must pass through security. AGE: 12 years and older ONLY.  $86/96 includes deluxe motor coach transportation,12:00 pm entry tickets to MJH and driver gratuity. “The story concerns bigamist John Smith, a London cab driver with two wives, two lives and a very precisely planned schedule for juggling them both, with one wife at a home in Streatham and another nearby at a home in Wimbledon.
Trouble brews when Smith is mugged and ends up in hospital, where both of his
addresses surface, causing both the Streatham and Wimbledon police to investigate the case. His careful schedule upset, Smith becomes hopelessly entangled in his attempts to explain himself to his two wives and two suspicious police officers, with help from his lazy layabout neighbor upstairs in Wimbledon.”

Trip: Boston Red Sox vs. NY Mets

Tuesday, September 3rd

 

We travel in with Joshua Worldwide (Limousine) to the Red Sox vs Mets baseball game. Since we will be in a stadium parking lot we won’t have to walk blocks to the stadium. Much easier!

Cost is $103 resident/$113 nonresident. Open to 12 and older (under 18 needs an adult)
