Senior Center Fun Trip: Rocky’s Aqua, Clinton
Wednesday, July 13th from 11:00am-3:30pm
Lunch with shopping afterwards.
Departure time is 11:00am and expected return is 3:30pm.

Senior Center Fun Trips use a bus from the Center for transport to and from destination. # of seats very limited. Registration begins the 1st business day of the month starting at 8am. Call the office to register and then make your payment by 4pm on the next business day. Registration begins Jul 1st.

3+ hour whale watch tour from Stellwagen Bank with free time at Quincy Market for lunch and shopping. Trip fee $126 per person. Lots of walking. Registration begins May 2nd.

Murder at the Howard Johnson’s

COST: $88 per person includes charter bus transportation, fabulous buffet lunch, matinee
performance of “Murder at the Howard Johnson’s”, and cabaret show. Driver tip is not included
Start with a delicious, all you can eat, buffet lunch featuring a large selection with all foods prepared
onsite. Following lunch, enjoy the hilarious performance of Murder at the Howard Johnson’s.
Following the show, return to your seat in the dining room for drinks and a fulfilled Cabaret Show!
Is all fair in love? Even murder? That’s the question posed by this light and funny suspense
comedy about a love triangle in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn. The play involves a woman, her
lover, and her husband. First, the wife and her lover plot to murder the husband. But then, the wife
and her husband plot to murder the lover. When that doesn’t work, the husband and the lover plot
to murder the wife… but this attempt, like the others, fails in a hilarious way!
This trip has minimal walking

Cost: $2 for transportation. Lunch is on your own.
Bus leaves the Senior Center at 9:45 a.m. and returns approx. 2:00 p.m.
This trip will be using the Senior Center bus for transportation.
First stop will be Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Waterford. Ollie’s sells closeout merchandise, overstock items, refurbished goods and irregulars. Real brands at bargain prices in every department from housewares to sporting goods to flooring and to food. (Ollie’s is similar to Ocean State Job Lot)
After shopping, a short drive will bring you to Denny’s Restaurant for lunch. Denny’s offers breakfast items, burgers, salads, sandwiches and classic dinners. (Lunch is on your own)
Mini-Trips are open to Rose City Senior Center Members only.

Come for the view. Enjoy the food. Stay for the show! Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven will be the location for this delight luncheon show. The beautiful waterfront property has a private deck and ballroom overlooking the cove and is known for it’s outstanding hospitality and good food. The luncheon will be followed by a trip down memory lane as Jimmy Russo, a dynamic entertainer sings music from the 60’s and 70’s.

A Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons – What can be better than having the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons live? Four guys from New Jersey recording the finest music of its generation. The show consists of four young, hot Broadway veterans recreating the music and stories of the era. Choreography, staging and melodious harmony, creating a memorable afternoon.

Join us for this trip to Lancaster, PA, the Heart of the Amish Country! You will enjoy an authentic Amish meal in an actual Amish home, track through specular farmlands on our Amish Artisans shopping adventure before arriving for the Sight and Sound Theatre presents “David.” The final day will be a stop at the Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market and then a trip aboard the Strasburg Railroad before heading home.
