Day Trips for 2021

 

No residency restrictions.  Detailed flyers available. Flyers can be mailed.  Registration begins on the dates noted.  Register as soon as you can.

Payments will be made directly to the Tour Company arranging the trip. Checks can be dropped off to the Senior Center office or mailed directly to the Tour Company.

In most circumstances, departure will be from the East Lyme Community Center Parking lot.

Open to Non-Residents if there is availability.  Non-Residents will be charged a $1.00 surcharge.

 


Wed, Feb 9th – We are heading to the Hideaway, Old Lyme for lunch with shopping afterwards.
Departure time is 11:00am and expected return is 3:30pm. Trip fee is $5pp
(transportation only).
Registration begins Jan 3rd.

 

 

Fun Trips 2021

Senior Center Fun Trips use a bus from the Center for transport to and from destination. # of seats very limited. Registration begins the 1st business day of the month starting at 8am. Call the office to register and then make your payment by 4pm on the 2nd business day.  You can only register yourself for a trip.

Open to Non-Residents if there is availability Non-residents will be charged a $1.00 surcharge.

 

Wednesday, November 10th – We are heading to Sadler Restaurant in Marlborough with shopping afterwards.  Departure time is 11:00am and expected return is 3:30pm. Trip fee is $5pp (transportation only). Registration begins Nov 1st.

 

 

 

Saturday, November 25th- Tour Bus Trip to see Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular

Every year, the Rockettes push themselves further to put on a show that’s
more dynamic, more challenging and more magical than the last. Take in
cherished moments and create new memories with the 2021 Radio City Music
Hall Christmas Spectacular!
We have center orchestra seats for the 5:00 pm show. $ 195/ resident
Deadline to register for this for this trip is Nov 15th.

Wednesday, November 17th at 7:00am- Day trip to Van Gogh the Immersive Exhibit in Boston

The experience is rich in content and suitable for a wide audience. In addition to a spacious central area where Van Gogh’s works stretch floor-to-ceiling, the experience includes separate galleries that chronicle his life, technique, and influence thru informative panels, larger than life re-creations and engaging interactives.

Time at Quincy Markey for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the many eateries.

Departure  7:00am

Estimated Return: 5:00pm

$110 per resident – cost includes admission to show, deluxe coach transportation and driver gratuity.
