Wednesday, August 11th at 11:30am- Senior Center Fun Trips- Join us for lunch at Costello’s Clam Shack

Join us for lunch at Costello’s Clam Shack in Noank.  Shopping afterwards.
Departure from the Senior Center at 11:30am.
Return around 3:30pm.

Registration begins August 2nd.
Trip fee is $5pp.


RULES

Open to Non-Residents if there is availability Non-residents will be charged a $1.00 surcharge.

Senior Center Fun Trips use a bus from the Center for transport to and from destination. # of seats very limited. Registration  begins the 1st business day of the month starting at 8am. Call the office to register and then make your payment by 4pm on the 2nd business day.

You can only register yourself for a trip.

Senior Center Fun Trips are limited to one a month.

 

Tuesday, August 24th at 12:30 pm- Bus Trip to Cross Sound Ferry Lighthouse Cruise out of New London

Our Senior Bus will depart from the Griswold Senior Center at 12:30 pm.  Return time is unknown.
Tickets       $25.00 per person     *Payment required upon registration

Enjoy a 2 hour narrated cruise aboard a high speed Catamaran. Each vessel has a snack bar and beverages to purchase. You will enjoy this narrated tour of nine lighthouses, beautiful mansions, Fisher’s Island, NY and more.

First Day Trip of the Season- Tuesday, October 5th- Van Gogh- The Immersive Experience Art Exhibit in Boston, MA

Cost: $112.00

The experience is rich in content. Take an awe-inspiring journey into the incomparable
universe of Van Gogh, one of the greatest artistic geniuses of the 19th century.
Explore his life, his work, and his secrets as never before through cutting-edge 360
degree digital projections, a one-of-a-kind virtual reality experience, and a uniquely

We are looking at resuming Day Trips in the fall but if things improve this spring/summer, we will pull together a couple of easy day trips to get us back on the road.

We have booked one trip for the fall and are working on a couple of other destinations.

Tue, October 5th -Join us for the coolest Van Gogh art exhibit you will ever see. Van Gogh, The Immersive Experience. This exhibit is so cool they have not yet announced where it will be held but it is definitely in the city of Boston. Lunch will be on your own at the Quincy Market. Trip fee is $112. A lot of walking. Bus capacity is limited to 40. Registration has begun. WE HAVE ADDED A SECOND BUS! Stop in to register and get a seat.
