SNAP FOOD PROGRAM:         You may be eligible for extra help with the cost of groceries. Call the Senior Center for Information and/or to make an  appointment to apply.

DIAL A RIDE TRANSPORATION IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GRISWOLD SENIOR CENTER

 

Dial-a-Ride Transportation for Individuals who are Seniors or for those who have Disabilities Dial-a-Ride services are available for the Town of Griswold/Jewett City residents for medical trips, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  There is SMALL FEE and no money exchanged between the driver and the rider. Anyone interested in utilizing the service must first register with the Griswold Senior Center by calling 860-376-2604

 

 

 

 

    Medical Transportation

    Senior center Transportation is free with a 24-hour notice. First come, First serve.

    • Medical Transports 9:00 am thru  12:00 pm
    • Tuesday Afternoon—Better Val U and Aldi Shopping Days
    • Thursday Afternoons Walmart Shopping at 1:00 pm

    DIAL A RIDEMedical Transportation 24/7 when the center cannot provide it for you. Call for information and registration.

    Municipal Agent Services with the Director are available by appointment. Call if you have questions or concerns regarding Medicare, Social Security, Insurance, Medications, Food Stamps or any other  services.
