Trip: Winter Wildlife Eagle Cruise on RiverQuest

    Friday, February 17th

    Departing at 11:30am

From the CT River Museum docks in Essex at 12:30pm – 2:30pm we take a 2 hour “on-the-water” narrated cruise to search for eagles and other winter wildlife. RiverQuest has a heated cabin, but we suggest that you dress in warm layers since the best views will be from the open decks.

NOTE: this is not an outing for those with limited mobility as the ramp can be steep. Pack a jacket, camera, binoculars and a snack if you’d like. No binoculars? No worries, they have plenty on board to borrow. They also provide complimentary coffee/tea

You will get to enjoy the river and its wildlife from the water and then an hour entire museum and their special Eagles of Essex exhibit and a model train exhibit. Cost is $50 per resident. We take our own bus. We depart at 11:30 am
