    I want to thank you for finding and using SeniorCenterCt.org and requesting this newsletter. SeniorCenterCt.org is the first in the nation collaborative Senior Center website. This amazing website has over 75 pages of news, resources and services. Our goal is to keep you and the larger community informed about what is happening at our area senior centers.

    As 2017 wrapped up we are pleased to share that SeniorCenterCt.org has been visited by over 10,500 users and those users have viewed over 52,300 pages. Over 20 companies have advertised this year and all their ads click over to their company’s website. It’s their vision and funding that makes this website possible.

    Want To Learn Cribbage?

    Do you want to play or learn to play CRIBBAGE? We would like to start a Cribbage Group. This is a fun game and whether you know how to play or have always wanted to learn, this group is for you. We will be holding this group the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:00pm beginning January 17th. Cribbage boards will be available to use. Please call to register (860)434-1605 ext.241.

    Diabetes…Sometimes an emergency…Sometimes Not will be presented by EMTs Colleen Atkinson and Doug LoPresti on January 31st at 1:00pm.

    They will discuss this common and often misunderstood condition. In most cases it is easily
    managed, sometimes with medication and other times with lifestyle changes. If left untreated, however, it can escalate to a lifethreatening emergency. Learn more about the signs and symptoms and what to watch out for. FREE Glucose testing will be available for anyone interested.
